Full Details of Dealers taking part are under F.A.Q. on the web page . Prices for a Dethleffs service is @ £285for non warranty and @ £410 or more for the damp spray warranty etc. (hence the Deffy Deal is not bad saving for £15 per year!)

Each year, we have many members ask for recommended insurers at the lowest cost. Unfortunately , because some insurers load against European vans whereas some encourage them with lower premiums. Insurance is so specialised these days, we cant specifically recommend one for YOUR circumstances i.e. Full recovery from Europe is not always included, provision of a driver if you are taken ill and either alone or partner doesn’t drive. Not essential but a great peace of mind. Some recovery companies third to Insurance companies do not have truck large enough to carry a full sized motorhome .Also where you store the van , driver record, many dont like 24/7 use.

Some insist on the highest grade of tracker and alarm etc. and of course, compare like for like and be prepared to look at the quote for a new policy holder and get them to match it.

Hence , when comparing, make sure it is “Like for Like” and not Quite similar .
