Germany outlaws speed camera alerts The new Road Traffic Regulation in Germany prohibits the use of devices that alert users to the locations of fixed and mobile speed camera locations. We recommend that you disable speed camera alerts before and while driving in Germany. You can, however, reactivate these alerts for travel outside Germany.
