Insurance Survey Results just emailed to current-year members. If you haven't had yours please email quickly. If you are paying more than £106 to insure your motorhome or £155 to insure your caravan, it may be worth your while joining us.
We have all now returned from the superb factory weekend with 20 members in Isny near to Switzerland/Austria. Trips include a Swiss Cheese maker and an Austrian Rolls-Royce museum as well as terrific parties at the factory.

2010 will see us visiting the huge Dusseldorf Motorhome & Caravan Salon in late August on behalf of Dethleffs Owners. We will also be on the stand at the 2010 NEC October but this year we were disappointed that for the second year running, Dethleffs had omitted to bring their stunning caravans , Campy, Premier Liner, the new modular Motorhome and many, many other great items.We will ask the questions and bring you members the latest news in a newsletter. We will be videoing inside each model and loading it onto youtube after the show. If anyone fancies meeting up in Dusseldorf, drop us a line on dethleffsowners at googlemail dotcom.

This year's adventures include:

2010 Factory Fun weekend in Isny im Allgau which is Friday 21st to Monday 24th May . We have just returned. I have posted a 2009 photo album online for the participants. A superb time was had by all. Caravanners AND Motorhomers came with us.
Edinburgh Fringe and Tattoo August 8th-16th with camping from £5 per night and the buses direct to the heart of the entertainment. Fabulous fun for all of the family. Come for a day or the week.
2009 Insurance Survey. STOP PRESS We have now received over 120 replies and on caravans we have members paying £600 down to £135. On Motorhomes between £600 and £260. When we have enough replies I shall email the top cost savings as a shortlist to ONLY SUBSCRIBED MEMBERS. Save by joining if you pay more than the lower costs just mentioned.
OVER 60 MEMBERS HAVE SAVED BETWEEN £100 and £200!!! There's strength in numbers!! You must be a current-year member to receive this information.
NEW NEW NEW!! Help with parts and problems. June 2009 we have launched a new FREE Email-Back-By-Return tech helpline. Last year we helped over 63 members to stay mobile. Windscreens, upholstery, delivery, body parts for older Dethleffs, replacement water caps......Oh, and the perennial: Charging Systems! We have great contacts and we are not afraid to use them!! YOU MUST BE A CURRENT-YEAR MEMBER TO USE THE HELPLINE/ SPARES HOTLINE.
We will be at the NEC in October at the big show, and possibly some other shows. Dethleffs stand, Hall 6.
We will be boosting awareness of the Dethleffs quality name so that we can keep resales values high for the future.

Many of you have older Dethleffs with German-language manuals. We welcome you all and have translated generic manuals only for members of the DOC. We have a member who regularly uses his 1950's Dethleffs Folding camper. We are searching for the oldest Dethleffs in use. Is it yours?

The older vehicles are a testament to the tradition of quality that the new owners rely upon. We are using PR to help to keep the value of your Dethleffs high.
