Fancy Getting Together at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival?
We are also looking to organise a get-together up near Edinburgh next year for the Fringe and Tattoo. We took our 16 year old son two years ago and Edinburgh becomes the 'City That Never Sleeps' for three weeks a year. We walked from comedy gig to lecture to jazz gig to seedy bar to big funk gig to art exhibition. The streets are packed with jugglers, stilt walkers, Russians playing brass instruments exquisitely, pavement artists etc etc. BRILLIANT FUN!!!
We thought that if you fancy going we can organise a loose get-together rather than formal meeting. Do our own things but have a group as well.
We have found a site where we can join with another organisation and stay for only £5 per van/night !! Any of you who have visited the Fringe will know that hotels are at a premium and you can expect to pay £500 for the weekend just for your room.
