DOC Insurance Survey Results
As you probably know, we are trying to reduce the costs of ownership for you (and us!).
Insurance costs a lot before you even turn a wheel. Ours is £550 a year through SafeGuard with Euro-Recovery. I was interested whether or not we could make savings. However, quality of cover is vital and different owners need different things. (We value Euro Recovery but new owners and those who only tour the UK don't need it). We have just obtained a quote like-for-like from one of our three recommended insurers and we have managed to save almost £200. RESULT!

On Motorhomes, cover ranges from £144 to £700 !! Safeguard are the most common and the most expensive by £244 !
On Caravans, The Caravan Club is the most common and the most expensive and the 'Friendly' Caravan & Camping Club Scheme is the cheapest by almost £200 !
